Nice camp sites and clean showers/bathrooms. Customer Service needs improvement. This place has to many NO rules, the biggest one being you can't have more then one car in a site...they showed no leniency for people who have limited mobility or simply dropping off someone at a site that already had a car. Felt like we were being scolded.

Tried to stay a week but couldn’t. Park was satellite unfriendly, cellphone unfriendly and cable and wifi deficient.

Washers were free, but no dryers…clothes lines. But the reason for leaving early was the harassment over my pet, very pet unfriendly! Will not return.

Overall this place has some wonderful aspects. I like that the rules help keep the place clean and organized. Very clean bathrooms, free laundry, river access, massive tent sites. The negatives were (1) an insane amount of ants all over our tent site that ended up in our car/everything and (2) no where to wash dishes. It doesn't take rocket science to see how those two points go together. When we got there, knowing that they have strict rules, I asked multiple staff where do we wash dishes. No one knew. Eventually one person decided that what we "obviously" should do is wash our dishes in a bin at our tent site and then put the dirty water down the RV dump, with no food scraps of course. When I told the staff member that every tent site we've ever stayed at had a clear dishwashing sink for tent/dry campers, and this was quite odd. He basically argued with me, said he's never seen a sink in 20 years of camping... in his RV lol. We did our best to keep the tent site clean but honestly there were bits of trash and food everywhere, and the ants were relentless. So overall this place is great, but definitely more of an RV resort than a tent site.

We were in need of a place to camp for one night of our travels, and found this campground using Google. We phoned the owner as we drove in the early evening to see if there might be space available, and she was able to reserve us a site. She said that we needed to be there by 7:30pm, and we didn't think that would pose a problem. However, we had forgotten about a time zone difference en route, and we were actually going to be arriving at 8:30pm. I called back, and she was so nice - she said that we should come ahead, and she would keep an eye out for us. Sure enough, when we arrived at the entrance, she met us, checked us in, and led us our site in a golf cart. The ground was lovely, with good electric and water hookups, and the restrooms were exceptionally clean and neat. I highly recommend this lovely campground!

This place is magical. Very nice and clean. Roomy clean showers. Trees, creek, flowers.

Sites are bigger than most places. Lots of green grounds, which help keep dust down.

Port a potties at dry camp sites are even clean.

I've seen some negative reviews. We didn't encounter that. I like that dogs are leashed, and the staff talk to guests to follow the rules. We have a Chihuahua, he's old and a scaredy cat. Nice to know I won't have a dog just running up to him, and I can walk him in peace. I love that dogs have many places to do their business. I don't want our RV spot used as a bathroom from previous pets. Thats just gross. There are numerous pet areas and they all have doggies waste bags and trash cans right there.

They are protective of the trees, but again I can understand why. The trees make this place!! Some sites have a fire pit, some don't, but you can use propane at all the sites. If you drive further on Hwy 12 you can see how close a previous fire came to this campground. Again their rules make sense.

They have washing machines and clothes lines all free. I did our bedding, and because it dried on the clothes lines it smells wonderful. They recently put in a sink to do dishes because a guest suggested it.

The owners said they are always looking to improve but not distract from the nature. They want this place to be here forever and take that seriously. That's awesome. I can appreciate their love for this place.

They also have a gift shop with limited hours but you can buy wood, snacks, water, soda anytime during their office hours 8am to 8pm.

I wasn't going to do a review because this place is definitely a hidden gem, but I had to because of some of the negative reviews previously. This is one of the prettiest places we have ever camped. So future campers... please be kind, so this place stays amazing.
