Some ghetto people came around honking and driving fast at 9:55pm. Gates are locked at 10pm, so I wished the Rangers would’ve been a few minutes early on Friday night! Scared to be here, so won’t get any sleep eek!
We rolled in on a friday night in late June and snagged the last campsite. It was tiny, and next to swampy area that was mosquito breeding ground. Other sites were very nice. Bathroom (vault toilet) was clean and had toilet paper. Good value for the money. No issue with noise after dark. Would return.
We drove down just to see if we could get access to the Bitterroot River and were pleasantly surprised at how nice this location was. We didn't came but we did have lunch in a tranquil setting near the river. I would highly recommend this spot.
Our dogo love this place and so do we.
It's one of our favorite places to go in both the summer and winter
