Used the old quarry pit to shoot guns. Cant shoot of atvs or campers are present but its almost completely contained to a bowl so good high walls to shoot into good for smaller guns and fun with the AR not terribly big so maybe able to get 75 to 100 yards from side to side be sure to pick up spent casings do not litter also having a fire extinguisher readily available is a smart idea
Very nice open area for camping and OHV activities. There are a couple of spots that have some cover from the sun but I do solar . Close to town but not too busy on the days in late Aug that I was there. Very clean so please continue to pack it in AND OUT!
