About Campground

High Falls Park is a 46 acre park nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and located on the shores of beautiful Lake Keowee. There are 91 campsites with 10 being waterfront. All have electrical hookup (20 &30 amp), water service, and bathhouses are located within the campgrounds with the dump station located outside the park entrance. The Park offers three rental buildings/shelters for reunions, birthday parties, award ceremonies, and picnics. Other day use facilities include picnic tables with charcoal grills, swimming area, restroom, miniature golf, one tennis and basketball court, volleyball, two boat ramps, fishing pier, and a playground. Lake Keowee is over 18,000 acres and provides a pristine, blue reservoir popular for water sports and fishing.

National Geographic released a Special Publication in November - 2012 titled "50 of the World's Last Great Places - Destinations of a Lifetime". Our remarkable Jocassee Gorges is one of those places.

The Mountain Lakes region offers an abundance of nearby attractions including the Sumter National Forest, Wild & Scenic Chattooga River, world class waterfalls, Stumphouse Tunnel, Upstate Heritage Quilt Trail, a thriving arts community, Clemson University and re-vitalized downtown atmospheres full of shopping and dining.

We love this place and we just live in Salem so not to far from us. Place is always clean and all the new improvements its just gorgeous. We come just about every day in the summer. We have our own spot we love. Just please put us the people a trash can some where up around the horse shoe area. It would definitely be appreciated..

Loved that the park has many things to do.

We will be camping here again. The bathrooms were clean and the showers are private. It's a short walk down to the swimming area with kids park, mini golf, basketball & tennis court and fishing pier.

So far I am not happy at all! The set up for these campsites are absolutely the worst! They have the power and water hook ups on the same side where the picnic table and fire pit is at. Not to mention the sites are very unlevel. Also the water and power hookups are so far away from each other and are no where near set up for a camper. We literally dont have enough water hose to hook up our water. We do alot of camping and never have we come across not having enough water hose! Pay close attention before booking as well bc the sites do not have sewer hook ups! The sites are cheap it was only 25 per night but tbh I would not come back! We haven't checked out the rest of the park yet. I really feel like they should have gave some sort of warning letting you know that the site didn't have sewer hook ups. Bc of course we didn't come prepared but I should have paid more attention before booking as well! I just hope the rest of the stay goes better!

Nice place to spend a couple of days. Quiet and not crowded at all. The staff is more than accommodating to make your stay enjoyable.

Had a great time. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Bath houses are very clean. Hookups can be a little weird, a mong hose is recommended. It took a 50' lose for us. Cool stickers to.
