Very nice campground on Lake Jocassee. The water is so clear. The park is very clean and well maintained. Excellent views of the lake and mountains. Enjoyed walking the short hiking trail. Nice swimming area with a sandy beach. They have a large boat ramp and nice store. We had a good weekend for boating around Lake Jocassee

Beautiful! Well maintained. Limited boat launches. Cabins are well maintained and absolutely gorgeous views if on the lake. This state park is a must visit if looking for a lake experience with waterfalls and less boat traffic. Not many restaurants nearby so plan to eat in.

Currently my favorite lake in the south. Gorgeous lake and mountain views, however the best parts will require a boat. 90% is undeveloped. Great campground. Had lots of fun, wish I could have stayed longer.
