This is our 2nd year as seasonal and this year was definitely our favorite and can't wait for next year. They have added so much to the campground, bounce pad, lakeside restaurant, and all the activities were awesome this year! We had the best time relaxing at the lake, floating in the water (which is very clean) and then eating at the Lakeside! You can definitely tell how much SHL has put into the campground this year and it was enjoyed 100% by us!

Usually book 2-3 trips here each year. Love it every time we show up. Decently spacious sites, plenty of things to do for adults and kids. They’re pretty good at keeping the weekend packed with activities. The store is also really nice here, always stocked with what you need. Never had any trouble with the owners or seasonals, (as described in other posts) everyone here is very friendly.

We spent one night at the campground on our way to our final destination. We had a great site for our big rig. The campground is very nice with a beautiful lake. Lots of things to do for the kids. Beautiful pool. Clean restroom. The staff was very nice especially Stacy. We realized the next day we forgot an important piece of equipment for our RV. We contacted the campground to see if they could us. Stacy went above and beyond to help us retrieve our piece of equipment. It would have been very expensive to buy a replacement. Again you can feel campground family atmosphere. Again thank you to help us to solve our misadventure.

It's very family friendly. We love the events they have for the kids and grown-ups. everyone is super nice we love them all. seasonal campers are always helping out volunteering with the active. the kids always have fun with so much to do when they come out. We loved the fireworks on the 4th of July this year its better

Post was submitted few months back..as a Fellow Veteran, Im reposting because I can...........................I wouldn't suggest anyone go there. I witnessed them verbally assaulting a veteran today and mocking him. The owner Nina's husband was making comments to the vet saying being a veteran is nothing, laughing in his face, she took pictures of the guys kids in the car, was screaming profanity while the mom was defending her kids. Took pictures of the plate, told them to leave and even blocked them in at one point. All because the vet paid for another veteran to thank him for his service and she tried to charge the other vet again!! The place is ran by people who need mental help asap. I feel bad for that family.. I witnessed the whole thing and they definitely did not deserve that treatment all for using the f word in a conversation with his gf in the parking lot. I hope any vet who reads this stays away. As you see how they feel about veterans.
