Out for a car ride we found this campground next to a railroad track and gave it a shot! We weren't there very long before 2 friendly chaps came and asked us to get off the tracks! Yeah, well....my daughter hadn't been ON tracks before! It was fun! Just not long enough.

If we pass by there again it's a good campground with a nice layout and plenty of space for the kids to run and play, a playground, an arcade and some entertainment for the grown-ups, too!

The owners are wonderful people, incredibly accommodating and generous, and they strive to make you feel welcome and at ease. The location is great, just minutes from the main interstate.

My stay was everything I was hoping for and more. I spent my evening sitting in a lounge chair, in the water, taking in the beautiful, peaceful view of the Potomac. I camped right on the water. It was perfect!

Thank you so much for keeping things easy and for your sincere kindness. I will definitely be back!

Great spot to campout! Threw a little birthday party here last night, had some friends coming in at different times. The lady was very nice and let us pay in the morning because I wasn’t sure how many people were gonna show. She gave us a super private spot right on the river, and nobody bothered us. Peaceful, beautiful spot.

After getting a late start on our 1st Rv trip we decided we needed a detour and to set up camp for the night. Dave was so helpful and welcoming, I called about a half hour out not expecting much and he said come on in and get ready for a good time cause there was gonna be a live band! After settling in, we rented a golf cart and hit the river for some fishing and some fun! The dogs loved it and when we struck out in the river we headed over to the stocked pond so the kids could catch some fish! They had a concession stand that we missed out on but my daughter enjoyed making friends on the playground right beside it while we got dinner and the fire ready. We enjoyed our night around the fire with the band playing right behind us! On a different night the hubby and I would have loved to mix it up and enjoy the huge bonfire and band with the other campers, but we had to be up early and on our way! The only negative about our visit was that train, we were up in front by the exit and one went down the tracks every 3 or 4 hours blowing its horn (necessary but annoying). Thanks so much for the hospitality!

Awesome hosts! Very friendly and accommodating. They had some tent 🏕️ sites open on the water. Only thing we didn’t like was that there was a golf cart racetrack right off our site. The gulf carts loaded up with 6-9 kids per gulf cart going well over the speed limit of 5 miles per hour and cursing like sailors.

They had a fun band that played till 11:30.
