Despite getting off to a rocky start, * had a great time. There was an issue with my site, due to a double booking. I completely understand, it was a busy, holiday weekend, and let's be honest, things happen sometimes. The staff there is outstanding, as they were quick and prepared to not only address the issue, but they resolved it immediately. I highly recommend this campground/resort, and will definitely be back.

Out In the boonies, long, curvy, single lane at places, hilly road to the place, not fun with an RV. Mostly permanent sites, stoney, hilly and rutted access roads thru the campsite, no fun for walking or biking. Hot tub outside had tadpoles swimming in it, indoor hot tub was warm and closed. Pool was nice and indoor pool was heated. Excersise room tread mill was worn out and broken. Also a storage area. Whole park was worn and needed maintenance. $50 a day/couple for amenities is way over priced. If this place wasn't nude it be bankrupted. I won't be back.

First timer and will return; the peace and freedom of being nude while going about the pool, hot tub, sauna, or hiking the trails is just wonderful. I'm used to having to backpack miles deep into the back country to get such freedom and even then it's always looking over the shoulder for an unexpected hiker passing by. I opted to camp in the pine grove - right in the middle of the entrance area and central to the pools, hot tubs, bathrooms, showers, etc. The hiking trails were only a short walk away. It took a bit to feel comfortable and let the guard down and realize that it is OK to be nude everywhere in the resort. I didn't meet too many other people but the few I did chat with were extremely nice and welcoming. I'll have to be sure to return next time at a busier part of the week. I had low expectations and was really just happy to find an inexpensive campsite for the night - I did not realize the true joy I'd experience in being unabashedly myself (with no clothes). This is not a "5 Star Resort" in the Caribbean that you'd pay 4 figures per night for which seems to be the expectation some other reviewers had. It's quiet, quaint, remote, and has the perfect amenities for a truly relaxing experience.

I was curious about the place- wanted to try the hot tub (very relaxing) and the outdoor heated pool (early October) I had a good time and enjoyed the conversations with the other people; was made to feel welcome by the office staff and the pool users. If I could get my wife to come with me it would be great. I would like to get her to camp with me there.(We both like to camp) We are looking at several trailers - or just bring our tent if she can get into it and sleep in it.

Such a wonderful day pass visit, will be back for a longer trip soon! You could stay for a long time without ever leaving the grounds. Even late fall it was busy (weather was spectacular so that may have helped). Such a refreshing retreat!
