The road to this site is very rough and takes some extra time if you don't have a high clearance vehicle. However, the site is gorgeous and worth the extra effort! The site is hosted by the Black Canyon campsite host and they were extremely friendly.
Great views and history here... research the history before heading up.
Great views, quiet, camp host keeps the bathrooms clean. A spot multiple where multiple families can camp together but still have space.

Caution of wind, there is a lookout point here, so strangers will be visiting.
5 stars for view and location. 2.5 stars for facilities. There is a lookout tower in the campground. It was closed when we were there so it's unclear if visitors are allowed up.
