Shipshewana North Campground is just 3.0 miles north of town and features a beautiful Florida room, "Red" barn meeting room, a native oak pavilion, water, sewer and electric sites, camp sites, camping & lodging cabins as well as our famous ice cream and frozen custard stand. Our north park also has a convenient dump station.
I greatly enjoyed my time here! The rooms and service were amazing. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is so beautiful in the campground. I recommend if anyone is looking for a peaceful & beautiful place to get away from daily hectic life.
This was a second choice campground for us since our first choice was fully booked. This is a very nice, wooded park with a few pull thru sites and mostly wooded back-in sites. VERY friendly staff. An ice cream/frozen custard stand on the premises is an added plus. Very close to downtown Shipshewana and surrounding area. Will come here again the next time we get out this way.
This has been a really nice campground. Shaded lots fairly level graveled spots. Nice clean restrooms and showers. Only 3 miles from town. We will be back for sure.
Great location to base out of to see the Elkhart/Middlebury/Shipshewana area. Frozen custard shop on site was awesome. I think a dog run would be a nice addition to the campground.
We pulled in really late but there was a pull thru site ready for us. Guy at the desk was helpful and left a map with perfect instructions to find our spot in the dark. Lovely campground. Beautiful area.
