I kept telling myself I should take pictures but I was having so much fun playing games like dominoes and rummikub and bingo in the coffee house that I didn't stop to take pictures. The bathhouse shower was great and the residents were super friendly. They even took me to church with them, awesome 💯😎
We read several reviews concerning the Horseshoe Lake Campground in Clinton Indiana. We talked to others about it too. We did not hear very good reviews but decided to try it ourselves. We have a Georgetown GT5 34M5 about 38 ft.
When we arrived we were greeted at the little office by a very nice lady who explained everything about the campground and we were assigned a site. The site was level. It was in the back but fairly good roads led us there. Dusty but hey, we are in a campground.
We were very impressed with the sites being spacious as we drove back. Some lots backed up to the many lakes, which many annuals have reserved. But hey, if I lived close I would probably get an annual site too.
Annuals were very friendly and most helpful with things to do in the area. We stayed 3 nights and it was peaceful and relaxing. Of course we were there during the week so we can’t comment about the weekend. We didn’t visit the pool area but info stated an adult evening swim, which we thought was awesome, if it is honored. Sorry kids but even parents need some down time!
Bathrooms really need updated and vented! So hopefully you are self contained. There could be problems with mold and I can see why after having to make a pit stop after walking thru the park.
This park could be a gem if management could get money from corporate to do the updates. Overall, we would rate it a 6-7 but man it could be a 10 for Thousand Trails!

Just hard to find gps sent me the wrong way. The resort needs an update, but the sites are nice and big grounds are kept up, and the bathrooms are clean. The staff was great. Ashley was very helpful 😀
Giving 4 stars for two reasons no one as gate when checked in. I had to circle twice to find my spot. The other reason is laundry room not usable under construction. The spot was wonderful level. It was very peaceful. I have 37ft class A. Loved my view. It was nice the other neighbors was not right next to you. Not sure about bathroom or anything. I didn't use pool or any of that just hung out at my spot and had relaxed visit.
