Loved it very clean water was warm. Will definitely be going back soon!
First, I would like to say the portapottys are disgusting and definitely haven't been cleaned out in a while. (I took two stars off because it was that bad. And I dont mind using portapottys) But it is a clean, free beach to swim at. Lots of rules. We watched the owner take someone's moped and put it in their garage because mopeds and motorcycles aren't allowed. They have swings, playground equipment, and a volleyball net. Their are 3 or 4 charcoal grill spots and picnic tables. The roped in area didn't seem to have any seaweed, but if you stand still, small fish will nibble dead skin off your feet. Their is a spot to put your boat in the water and fishing areas. They have a small shop on the property that sells ice cream/popsicles/miscellaneous items, and you can rent folats. I believe they also rent out those standing surfboard looking things that you use a paddle to move and steer yourself. There is plenty of shade but also plenty of areas to sunbathe their is a campground here, and there are lots of RV's/campers not sure if tent camping is allowed away we never see tents.
Love this place, so much for kids to do. If your not swimming or playing volleyball, or playing on the play ground, you can soak up the sun, enjoy
Nice little beach. I'm sure it would get super packed on the weekend but wasn't bad during the week. You don't kave to pay for parking and it is right off the freeway. Volleyball net and basketball hoop in the water. This park is not dog friendly and has portable toilets. There is a little store has snacks
