My husband and I have a seasonal campsite for almost a year at Camp Sack-In. We looked at several camp grounds but knew as soon as we pulled in this was the place. The manager Larisa was sweet and truly friendly. We felt that we were home. Weekend activities horseshoes and corn hole every Sat with carry-in and music. This camp ground we are all family!
We tent camp here every year. Kind of a hidden gem that a lot of the locals don't know about. Everyone is always super friendly. 10/10
Campground was clean and the area I was in was quite; I really couldn't tell you about the rest of the place as it is rather spread out. The bath house was far away from my campsite, but I was using my own facilities; so I didn't care about it. They don't have sewer hookups, but since I was only there three nights so the dump station was fine. The place has a lot of seasonals. I met some of them and were nice. There was a "corn hole" tournament going on while I was there. It brought out a big crowd. I was told it's a regular occurrence. Seemed like a friendly crowd; the people I talked to were all nice. I would definitely come back here.
Live near by and never camped there. Enjoyed spending much time while family camped there. Many reviews people enjoyed their stay. Family plan to return in future to camp again. Kids loved it. Cornhole and horseshoes for adults. Friendly courteous staff.
I've enjoyed going here since I was a kid. I have taken my children now that I'm grown. Spooky weekend in early October has always been a favorite. Friendly staff, too!
