Close to the road but we'll maintained. Lots of fishing from the river bank, the nearby bridge and by boat thanks to the boat ramp. Portapotty is well maintained.
Nice place to go for peace and quite. There's a few swings, a slide and a basketball hoop for the kids. A gazebo if you want to do a picnic or cookout but bring you own grill.
I camped there years ago. I went looking for the area where my tent was, but it has changed so much!!!. Some better some not so... then you could play in the creek adjoining the river. Now you can't even get to the creek at all. So now you set up camp and do what??? I can sleep, cook at home. What can you do there now??? Sad very sad.
Nice place for a picnic in Carroll County. Bring your own chairs. It is where the Wabash River and Rock Creek meet.
