Discover us nestled in the heart of the Lost Coast, just 45 minutes off Hwy 101 at Garberville. Take the Redway/Garberville exit from Hwy 101. Follow Redwood Drive to Briceland Road, turning west, and stay on Briceland Road; it seamlessly becomes Shelter Cove Road. Enjoy the scenic drive through winding paths and ancient redwoods. Exercise caution the last few miles as you drop down to the Lost Coast. Take it easy, use those low gears, and be mindful not to overheat your brakes. If towing a larger RV, ensure your trailer brakes are in top-notch condition—trust us; you'll need them here. Continue all the way to the end of Shelter Cove Dr then turn left on Upper Pacific. Do not go through the residential streets they are very steep and hard to pass with an RV. If you have any questions about the drive in give us a call.
I lived at this complex two years and it was honestly quite a learning experience. I luckily lived upstairs so I only had problems with bugs a couple times. The complex is quite dirty at times people just throw trash everywhere even right outside the dumpsters. My car also got stolen while living here and they don’t have cameras anywhere on the premises not even when entering or exiting. The time I lived here my AC went out 5 times one of the times for a whole week during the summer no accommodations were set up for me I had to figure it out on my own. They constantly are cycling through employees and they were rude at times or simply unprofessional specifically Bri. The only reason I’m giving it three stars is one because there’s two office employees Nancy and Melissa who were always so respectful/kind and very helpful. The second reason is their maintenance employees were always super nice and respectful would try help as much as they could. Very much a learning experience for future residences of mine.
I saw this place on my way to view another apartment decided to stop on my way back and I’m glad I did. I had no appointment and Bre had no problem taking time to talk to me and show me apartments. I felled in love with the apartment and costumer service . Bre and Melissa have been working with me and make this stressful and fast long distance move so much easier for me and I so appreciate it.

Shelters cove is great place to live and very understanding and will work with you Bree is my favorite in the office, she so easy to talk to. Juan is an awesome maintenance man, he always does his job perfectly very much recommend.
Recently had to move with a months notice from our previous apartment. We looked at other places but not only did Shelter Cove met our needs but the professionalism and the strong communication we received definitely made a difference in which lease we would sign. Melissa and Bri were not only welcoming but made our applying process as smooth as possible. We have been here for 2 weeks and they have been making us feel welcomed and been pleasant and personable when we happen to step into the office.
