Had an nice time while I was here. Stopped by for a night to rest and there wasn’t a lot of people so really had the place to my family. bathrooms were alright but place didn’t have much too it overall. Just a pretty standard campground overall 3/5 stars
This place is a Florida State Parks campground. The most important thing to notice is that this campground does not have individual, site-specific water and electric hookups. It is known as a dry camp. The campground is quite, clean and the campers are friendly. The campground employees who run the camp are friendly, helpful, and responsive to what you may need. Located right in the Marjorie Harris Carr recreational trail, you can hike, ride a bike, or ride a horse in the beautiful natural surroundings. The bath house is clean. There are clean showers (the shower heads are not the best).
Super quaint campground with hiking trails and horse riding trails connected to it. We stayed here to mountain bike and ride horses and absolutely loved it. The bathrooms and the camp sites were well kept. The cherry on top was walking around and seeing all the horses staying on site!
Overall 10/10
