This place is fantastic! The trails are easy and we'll maintained, there are wild raspberries in the summer, good fishing and swimming spots, and the wildlife is everywhere. We saw bald eagles, snakes, rabbit, hereon, and frogs/toads.
Tough to review. The hike was nothing to write home about but when we got to the end of the Tidal Pond trail we observed Snow Geese, terns, numerous types of ducks, bald eagles and a great blue heron.
Used to be a nice place. It's all overgrown and doesn't feel like a safe place.
Great little gem on the sassafras river. Very little foot traffic, plenty of places to fish and picnic. I would recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing, easy hike in nature!
