✅ Campfires

The tiny nearby town of Millington has an excellent restaurant (Two Tree) as well as gas station/grill (Tailgate), Dollar General, Food Lion, and laundromat. Milano's and Carletto's restaurants will even deliver right to your camp! The Millington Public pool is less than 5 minutes away.

- There is road noise from the Route 301 bridge. Some days it fades into the background and others it can detract from the peace depending on your tolerance.

Host lives on site. There are two dogs on premises in fenced area.

Our pups first journey on the water and with the friendly and accommodating Whoof on the Wharf we all had a great afternoon. All and all a 10/10 experience!

Whoof on the Wharf is really great! We rented 2 kayaks for 2 humans and 2 pups for an hour. It was our first time kayaking with the pups, and the people at Whoof were all very friendly and helpful. They let us borrow life jackets for both the humans and the pups. The kayaks were very clean and well-kept. They helped us and the pups into the kayaks, and we got a puppy ice cream at the end. The store has some cute clothes, treats and kayaking gear, and a nice seating area. Overall, a great first kayaking experience.

From the moment we entered, the ladies working here were very attentive and friendly. They helped us get comfortable with the kayaks and gave tips on taking our dog with us during the trip. We went down the creek and back, which took roughly one hour at a leisurely pace. They have a place to wash your feet along with dog ice cream that you can buy for an after kayaking treat! It was a very enjoyable experience.

Had a great time at Whoof on the Wharf! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgable about kayaking and paddleboarding with dogs. Dolly(the dog) rode the kayak with my wife and I paddleboarded. We navigated down the the creek and paddled around the river as well! I would highly recommend and will be coming back!
