This was s great place to stop on our trip to NC. The park is nice and felt safe. I loved having my son in law take me to the commissary and PX.

Located on Fort Meade, this RV park is a really nice place to set up to see northern Maryland for those with access and privileges to use the FAMCAMP. We were able to easily access Baltimore (Fort McHenry), Annapolis, and Lancaster County from here. Also, it is close enough to Washington DC to enjoy time there, but more out of the way than the FAMCAMP at Andrews if that is the place you want to see. Paved spots, shady, plenty of reasonably prices machines in the laundry room. There is WIFI in the bathhouse lounge, but not throughout the campground. I've stayed at a lot of FAMCAMPs and this is one of my favorites.

Quiet Shaded Park, Never seem to cut the grass. No after hours staff. Grass growing in the patio areas. No place to boat or kyack. Not much for children to do at the campground. It's ok.
