I stayed this weekend and the pier still has no lights. Reading reviews people posted a year ago complained about the pier not being fixed and the owners response was they are working on it. Apparently they’re not! Couldn’t go in the pool because on group took over the main pool all weekend with booze and loud music. Lesson learned for us. We will not return.
Stayed at the RV Park. Love the location. Wish they had at least one heated pool out of the 2 they have but.... anyways. I'll stay here again and again just for its locationn atmosphere
Avoid this place, go to any of the other 40 RV grounds in Rockport.
I was put in a spot that didn't even have room to park my truck. I asked to be moved when I noticed several other spots come open. I was told they were all reserved and I couldn't move. I continued to see those same spots open plus more new spots opening but I still couldn't move. I see now why the park is down to 50% capacity. The management is not customer oriented.
I pulled out and went to another RV park only to see that Mark charged me a $400 fee for not giving a notice to move out. I requested a call from the owners, but Mark ignored that request same as my request to move spots.
Loved this little place by the water! The rooms are nearly renovated, and it shows. Super super cold air conditioning and nice, clean appearance. Newly built, solid, pier. Lights are coming soon according to friendly front desk help. I'd like to visit again! Only complaint was no coffee, and coffee pot did not work. 😴
Absolutely fabulous place!!!!! Stayed a month, quiet, and well manicured!! Freddie keeps the lawns and public areas, pristine!! Shower house is immaculate. Booked same spot for 2025. Can't wait to return to this gem on the Coastal Bend!!
