Nice quiet place right on the intercoastal. Good fishing. Barges and boats fun to watch. No Wi-Fi but get TV channels with regular antenna. Spaces aren't real huge but big enough to give you space. We are in a 40ft Motorhome towing a Jeep and have plenty to space . Each site has a picnic table, on a cement slab. Stayed 2 weeks including Easter Sunday, was not full.

Our second stay and my wife and I really enjoy staying here. The crab fishing was awesome. Management was accommodating and friendly. It was fun watching Barges go up and down the water way.

Easter weekend 2021 we had a great site and enjoyed our visit. We booked April 5th for a stay during the Memorial weekend and received a phone call yesterday (5.20.2021) that the site we reserved was not available because the folks currently renting the site are going to stay for a month due to be displaced from the current rains. I feel for these folks however Leon tried to place us at a site down the road that has no fishing, no concrete and looks a mess. Rent for this site#4 is $690 a month & you are backup to the intercoastal canal. So we where only booking for 4 days almost 2 months in advance. Shame on you Leon for not honoring your commitment.

Awesome place to stay,it's mere feet from the water. And the owner is awesome to work with. I would rate it the best place to visit on the bovaler.

Gravel and grass sites, concrete sidewalk around the canal, 50 amp services, good water pressure. They have their own private boat ramp. During low tide, the canal entrance is lower than 1 foot deep. Leon runs the park and is very understanding of full-time rv'ers having more than 1 vehicle. The sites aren't huge but are larger than most on the island. I'll pay a bit more to stay right on the water and not have someone on top of me. Fishing from the back of my camper, we caught numerous fish. Awesome place to stay and close to everything you might need.
