Well-marked snowshoe trail (River to Mom's Trail). Took about 1 hour with photo stops. Some fallen trees to get around but nice easy snowshoe.

Sno park pass required. Purchase at various places in Bellingham, Crossroads Grocery in Maple Falls or USFS Glacier Ranger Station (weekend only). Groomed on Friday conditions permitting. Really pretty snow shoe trail along river, entry to left of road at parking lot.

A lot of mosquitoes, but numerous free campsites, some larger than others. Beautiful area.

Did not go to Salmon Ridge Sno-park.... not enough snow... or rather scruffy snow, -in January!! But that's climate change. WENT to NF-3075 which is almost to downhill ski area on the last hairpin turn. Good snow and slopes mostly downhill on the way out and then up going back ! Only half a dozen parking spots! Back in please!
