Rented the small cabin for one night, wish I would've stayed more. The new bathroom/shower facilities are amazing. Absolutely peaceful park, exactly what I needed to refresh in the middle of the week. Hoping to go back, for longer, and stay in a waterfront cabin.

Silver Lake is a lovely park, we camped at Red Mountain campground, it was well maintained with a large shower / restroom facility. There are plenty of activities to keep the family busy. We spent our time hiking the trails and pedaling on Silver Lake in a rented pedal boat. Pedal boats, kayaks, row boats and canoes are available to rent at minimal cost and life jackets in all sizes are available.

We enjoyed our 4 days! Beautiful, well-cared for, shaded campsites with individual firepit/grill. Brand new shower/toilet structure at Maple Creek campground. Nice shaded trail to the lake from camp. (Wish there were more!) There are lodges and cabins that look nice too. The lake is delightful; peddle boats, kayaks, paddle boards, canoes can be rented. The Lake is the center of activity for both the 2 and 4-legged among us. It can get crowded on weekends, esp. with the added day use peeps. Evenings were quiet. Did not have any cell or internet service there (which isn't a bad thing!) They were doing weed control in the lake one day. Signs said they've had success keeping them under control but it must be a constant effort. We'd like to try camping there again in the fall.
