Been coming here for years watching the slow decline of this place. They have one side of the lake/pond blocked which is causing water to go down and turn ugly. I've never seen the water so low. They didn't have the paddle boats out due to this, which is something you PAY for as part of the experience.
Most of the games were out of order in the main office and one even took our money.
The dark haired young gal that works downstairs in the cafe was not friendly. She couldn't even give a smile while my family and I were ordering coffee.
The mini golf course is very underwhelming and not taken care of. Most of the kids just stand around on their phones including the main lady at the front desk. She couldn't even put her phone down when we were checking in. Hope your message was more important than the money you're earning because we won't be giving you any more money.
The bees... The bees were literally everywhere. Wish they would take care of that so, come prepared or don't waste your money.
We have amazing memories of the Lynden KOA. We had a permanent site for many years with my family and friends. The Martin’s make this a special and welcoming place to come and stay each year with so many activities for families, like paddle boats, tractor rides, a great pool and cabins
We love it there! Highly recommended!
We love the hospitality of all the employees. It's always clean and in pristine condition. Can't wait to go camping again this spring and summer and use the new pull thru spots. Our grandkids love the mini golf and paddle boats. 4th of July is EPIC!!!! So many fireworks, not only at the campgrounds but all around the surrounding area. Lynden KOA is always our go to for group camping
KOA in Lynwood is an amazing place. I stayed there for an extended time. 3 months total. The grounds were clean. All the facilities were well maintained and clean. The owner Eddie made my stay well worth it. Was accommodating on anything that I needed. Thank you for a great experience on moving to the Pacific Northwest. 😊🙏👍
We stayed here at the KOA for about 4 months after moving into town. We loved the location and setting of the campground, the wooded area with strings of lights around one of the outdoor wash stations and low lights up one of the walk ways. Gives it a great vibe at night time. The ducks in the ponds are PRECIOUS and so friendly. It’s nice to just sit and watch them. They were the highlight of our time at the KOA. Each cabin has a cute little porch swing. Nice bathroom and laundry facilities. Although the arcade, mini golf, store, boat rentals and pool were closed for the season while we lived there, we look forward to coming back to camp during the summer and enjoying those extra amenities. The campground was under construction during our stay, and finished up right as we were moving. The new lots are nice!
