The Elwha RV Park sits inside a mature evergreen forest alongside the Olympic National Forest and the Elwha River gorge; former home of the Lower Elwha Dam.
We are in the ideal location to explore the 5 main entrances into Olympic National Park, Port Angeles, & the Juan de Fuca Straits.
Just far enough from town to surround yourself with nature, but close enough to conveniently access restaurants, shops, & cultural events.
Our guests love our quiet wooded ambiance, community garden, friendly service, & drama-free vibe.
If you are into biking, rock-hounding, hiking, catching sunsets, bird-watching, hydroponics & gardens, or simply soaking in nature's best, this is the place for you.
We love sharing a space & environment which empowers you to escape, reset, & rejuvenate.

We enjoyed our 5 day stay here. The campground is meticulously cared for. Very clean and very quiet. Our site was a fairly private one; even though we had neighbors on both sides, the shrubbery, etc. separated us (and provided so much shade we didn’t use our awning). I think this was the widest site we’ve ever had.
They have a garden you can pick from. We kept coming down to grab lettuce for sandwiches, and mint to add to our iced tea! The campground is super close to Olympic National Park, which made the perfect base camp.
My only gripe is that the showers are coin-op. I’d much rather just have to cost of showers added to my site up front. Since we spent each day hiking/exploring, it was a little daunting to arrive back and try to wrangle quarters for a family of 4 every single day—quarters we often need to use for laundry as well.
But the bathrooms are very clean (probably cleaned more than once a day from the look of it), and this one grip hardly takes away from what is otherwise a top-tier campground. I highly recommend!
We loved this place so much we came back a second time in our trip. It’s a great location to explore everything the area has to offer. The staff was wonderful and they take such great care of the property. The little artisan bread oven is so charming! My favorite part was the community greenhouse/garden. They are kind enough it open it up to allow everyone to collect fresh greens and veggies. Being on the road, it’s not always easy to get fresh food so this was such a treat! We can’t wait to be back here!
Delightful little campground. lots of charm, near some nice little hiking trails. Close enough to town to pick up some more marshmallows, but far enough away to make it quiet and cozy. Our only mistake was not saying longer.
All of the staff I dealt with were great!!! Sierra helped me with our reservations for our RV and my daughters (and family) group tent site (which consisted of many questions on my part and she was very patient and friendly)! Amber was very helpful at check-in with lots of information about the campground and things in the area (including the shuttle to Hurricane Ridge)! Brianna was very helpful in providing our daughters group tent site with an extra picnic table so all 9 of us could sit together to eat! Our RV site was just perfect along with the group tent site! The campground was unique and we absolutely loved everything about it from the outside grounds with several cool wood sculptures, fixtures and games/things to do, the clubhouse (with frig, stove, oven, sink, dishes, silverware, places to sit and relax, cable TV, and several washers and dryers), the veggie/herb garden, the restrooms and the trail on the N/W side past the Office turnoff. Everything was kept very clean and inviting!
We feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon this gem of a place. We arrived late in the afternoon, and, by some stroke of luck, managed to choose a spot that we thought was perfect. However, the next morning, we realized that we had actually set up camp in the wrong campground. Despite the mix-up, we decided not to move because this place turned out to be absolutely enchanting.
Our son had a blast exploring the playground and riding his scooter along the scenic path. The surroundings were so clean and pristine, which added to the overall appeal of the place. To our delight, the owner of the campground was incredibly kind and understanding. She even generously offered us a substantial discount, which was a pleasant surprise.
We can't thank you enough for providing us with such a wonderful experience. This unexpected adventure turned out to be a memorable and heartwarming one, thanks to the beauty of this place and the kindness of its owner.
