From jct Hwy 9 & Hwy 547 (center of Sumas): Go 1/4 mi S on Cherry (Easterbrook).
A quiet place to stay. The phone number is the office number and there’s no one in the office most of the time. At least when I called the number on the office door and someone called me back when I was at the campsite. Most are permanent residents in this campground and not that many sites are open for short stay. And the price we paid was higher than the price on the website because it was charged more for pull though and no back in site open.
This is a clean and seems to be a quiet park. Close to the border. The one time I was able to speak to someone face to face, he was helpful, friendly and informative. That said ...
They are impossible to reach. I have called during business hours and left voice mails as well as sent emails and none of them answered. I have been on location 3 times during business hours and the office was still closed except for once. I was applying for a month to month spot so I filled out the paperwork and paid for a background check (I appreciate them doing that) but after they charged my CC I have never heard from them.
If you're just staying short term none of this will be of concern to you because they have a no contact or interaction check in and out process that allows you to drop the payment in a box and go park. I can't speak to that.
All that said, I am sure the managers are nice people but their administrative skills need work. The park is kept neat in appearance and I do know that two of them are only employed part time but office hours are 30 hours a week and then there is the upkeep ... maybe an ownership issue rather than management 🤔.
2 stars for taking my money and then not following through or returning my phone calls 😒
Awesome place to stay and a long term place as well,,that is what we decided to live here long term. The manager is a great person,,no a awesome person inside the office and out of the office,, there's a good family feeling with the whole park. No crime of any sort,,highly recommend Sumas RV Park to camping, RVs and campers all is welcome town is just walking distance or bicking from park just a nice place
Very quiet park with a great view of Sumas Mountain. Full hookups work fine. Rates are very competitive, and management has clearly worked hard to improve the atmosphere of the park. Good place to stay overnight or for a while.
