We had a blast up at sage hen campground. Its beautiful. Great hiking trails. The lake was clean and not to cold. Bring your rafts, paddle boards and enjoy a day on the lake. I recommend hollywood campground its first serve. But if you come up on a week day you will get a spot. We camped at #4 and it was the Perfect spot. It was right along the water with trails all around you. Nights do have a chill and days are nice. Lots of trees. Clean campground. The road getting up to sage hen is bumpy and narrow
Really nice little spot to picnic and take a walk. The drive from Smith's Ferry is a little long, but the roads aren't bad and the scenery is nice. We took the back way out to Ola and that's another interesting drive!
