About Campground

This is a **one-unit** dispersed camping area along Mann Creek. It is next to the road so it can be noisy and dusty. The campground is maintained in part by the local Kiwanis Club. Typical season of use is mid-May through late September or early October. There is no potable water available at the site, so come prepared with your own.

Directions

The campground is located 20 miles north of Weiser. From Weiser, travel north on Highway 95 for approximately 12 miles, then turn off on Forest Road 009. Travel another 8 miles and you will arrive at the dispersed campground. Road 009 is an improved gravel road suitable for passenger cars.

I agree with Melissa. What a treat to have a nice spot to stop. It has a biffy, fire ring, and a creek near by. What a shame that people don’t respect things, and leave such a mess. How hard is it to pick up your onion skins and put in a sack. Put the empty pop cans in your car and cigarette butts. Why would you shoot up a sign that doesn’t belong to you.? We won’t enjoy this spot much longer, because it’s possible that the National Forest or Kiwanis organization will close it. Pick up after yourself AND PACK IT OUT!!!!

Cute little spot to stop while riding through manns creek, how ever because some people do NOT respect anything it is covered in trash, beer cans, broken glass and nails. Sad people have to ruin such nice areas.

Kiwanis Campground, nestled in the rolling hills of Washington County, is a pretty sweet little retreat. This is a great place for family and friends to gather as it is only one spot, no RVs though. The spot would easily fit up to 3 to 4 tents depending on their size, maybe more if your tents are a smaller size. Mann Creek butt's up to the campground and makes for a very pleasant and relaxing sound. The spot also has an outhouse for convenience, although it could be cleaned a little more. Kiwanis campground was very picturesque, the scenery did not disappoint. I would stay here again.
