Deer Creek Campground has 3 small, tight, shady campsites, each with a fire ring and a picnic table. Sites to pitch a tent are small and limited by brushy vegetation. Parking is limited. Large RVs or long truck/trailer combinations are not recommended. A single-unit, ADA-accessible SST vault toilet is found at the campground. Individual campsites are not considered ADA-accessible. An excellent site for a small picnic near a creek. Cottonwoods, willows, alder, and spruce trees shade the campsites.
From Ketchum drive south approximately 9 miles on ID 75. Turn west onto Deer Creek Road (Forest Road #097) and drive approximately 9 miles west to Deer Creek Campground/Picnic Area.
Beautiful park with a lot of trees and shade. Situated perfectly just a few miles up the mountain; you can go right to go to the Snake River or left to go to the Salmon. It's also out of the heat in the summer. Not too big or crowded and has free wi-fi. It's a hidden gem!
I was just looking for a place to park my trailer while I was hunting and found this place. Really enjoyed my time here. Owners are very nice and accommodating. I would recommend this to anyone with an RV or travel trailer. Thanks for the good experience.
Wow! This place! The views are spectacular and the accommodations are even better. Tom and Ann sure created a beautiful campsite. Only 9 campsites makes for a peaceful and relaxing stay in the pines of White Bird. Be sure to make a reservation here, and if you do, you will surely want to return!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Deer Creek Pines RV Park, and I can't say enough about the incredible experience. The natural beauty of the surroundings is simply breathtaking. The scenery is like something out of a postcard, with massive mountains, blue sky, and the tranquil ambiance of the area making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
What truly sets this RV park apart is the warm and welcoming owner. They went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. When we found ourselves in a bind and needed to get to the boat launch for a fishing tour, they graciously offered us the use of their Polaris. It's not every day that you encounter such kindness and generosity.
The peacefulness and serenity of the sights, combined with the owner's hospitality, created a truly memorable experience. Deer Creek Pines RV Park is a hidden gem that I can't wait to return to. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty and hosted by genuinely kind individuals, this is the place to be.
Absolutely loved this place!! What a beautiful setting, huge full hookup sites and friendly owners. If I could rate higher I would. If you’re jet boating on Snake River, Killgore Adventures will pick you up and save you a ton of time.
