We loved our time at this rv park. All of the staff is so helpful and friendly. It truley felt like home. The amenities were great. Our little ones loved the playground and we used the recreation room several times to have a change of scenery.
I lived at the Sacramento River RV park for around four years. The first year was wonderful and has grown not to be with new management. They advertise having a disc golf course that has been removed. When I moved in there were 3 men and women’s restrooms each, now there is one women’s restroom and two men’s. They just closed one down and never finished remodeling the other. The rules only apply to chosen few. The water gets shut off all of the time as they are doing construction, have been for along time and this has been a major inconvenience to me living here. So I never know if I can shower or have water consistently. Power surges are a very common thing here as well. I’ve witnessed multiple RV’s whole electric frying and nearly catching the rv on fire that didn’t have surge protectors. And yes the power gets cut off very often as well. River access is in two spots only, which you aren’t allowed to swim in. It has become more and more unpleasant. So I relocated to another park finally. All in all I’d say it used to be a wonderful place to stay. But no longer for me.
This place is very disgusting, roaches everywhere, infested with ants, the water was very soapy, horrible customer service, the male owner of the park was sneaking around at night looking through everyone's windows, when he was caught he ran from the seen hiding his face like we weren't going to notice him. Tried to call there corporate number on there card but it's a fake number. This place needs evaluation and needs to be shut down immediately
My family has been staying at Sac River RV park for just over a year now and we love the park. We started out in one site but moved to a riverfront site when the one we really liked came available. They were super accommodating for our move. Our new site is amazing. Management is always very friendly. In regards to an earlier review complaining about being roach infested and soapy water etc…I have never seen a roach. Ants are around yes…it’s the river and it’s outdoors 🤷♀️🤦♀️…But we spray so we don’t get ants or spiders inside. I buy ice from the store and fill my water bottle from the tap so I’m definitely not drinking “soapy water “. The things said in that review are completely false. Not one single true statement. The park is a very nice place and is quite like a very friendly neighborhood.
Located on a dead end frontage road on the west side of I-5 south of Redding, CA.
PROS
Flat spaces offering full hookups. Bathrooms (heated) recently redone with nice tile, two showers and three toilets (women). All bathrooms have code locks for security. Hooting owls at night creates nice ambience.
CONS
Southern women's bathroom floods when the shower is used. The floor drain was tiled over. The owners are working to correct this. There are no hooks or benches available in this bathroom structure. Freeway noise may be loud for light sleepers (bring earplugs).
Overall a solid stop for travelers passing through.
