Bathrooms were disgusting and it only takes a few families to feel crowded already, but otherwise a nice little place to visit.

This place was honestly a GEM. If it weren't for so many dang YELLOW JACKET WASPS it would have been ideal! It was secluded but not too far out, beautiful and serene. But there were thousands of wasps everywhere especially around the water because of the muddy banks. The wasps were surrounding the water stickers and my son was stung! Won't be coming back unfortunately because I have 2 little ones and can't take that risk. . . Wish they would do some sort of wasp control. 🙄 I know it sounds superficial but honestly it would make for a better camping 🏕 experience

Nice campground but one heck of a washboard road to get there.

Clean place to camp, they have a couple bathrooms throughout the loop. There's a day parking area as well, but you can walk from literally anywhere. Definitely busier in the summer but you just can't beat the clear water similar to Lake Tahoe! There's also fishing and blue crawdads, as well as a trail that you can hike around the whole lake!

Also, yes there's bugs. It's a lake and summer. Not sure what other commenters expected lol
