This place was wonderful! Very clean and cozy. Felt welcomed as we pulled in and were greeted by one of the owners. The beds were very comfortable. Beautiful views and loved the little chipmunks that were there playing across from the cabin. Owners were very nice and made the stay great.

Went for a spontaneous weekend escape and randomly picked these cabins. We were lucky enough that they had a last-minute cancelation, which allowed us to snag the cabin.

Eatlier that morning, I called and left a message that was promptly returned. The owner was very nice and polite. Making the reservation was quick and easy. Check-in was at 3 p.m., and we made it there by 5 p.m. The husband met us in front of the office and directed us to our cabin, number 8. He was super nice. Gave us a walk-through of the cabin and a quick tutorial on how to work the hot tub. He also provided us with some suggestions of things to do in the area and a couple of good places to eat, if we weren't cooking and eating in the cabin.

The cabin was clean, and the decor was fairly up to date for a rustic cabin. There were no weird smells, and it had been remodeled and updated. The hot tub was clean, and the deck was semi private. The deck overlooked the river, which was really nice.

We didn't go anywhere. We just relaxed in the cabin. The internet was slow, and we had no cell service, which we didn't mind at all. We came to relax and that we did.

The only downside was that these cabins were right off the highway, and our cabin was the closest to the highway. There was a constant barrage of cars and motorcycles up and down the road all day and night. The cabin was fairly noise proof, but the highway does distract from the beautiful ambiance and peaceful serenity. Maybe stay further into the property to avoid being so close to the road. Although this entire property is right off the road.

Overall, we would stay here again, and it was a nice, peaceful weekend eacape. And the price was fairly reasonable, a smidge high for the road noise.

My momma and I (and our pups) have been going to RRC for nine years now. We do a yearly trip most falls. We've gone all different times during the year but we prefer the colors and the cool nights. It's gorgeous anytime of year though. Estes is a few minutes away up the canyon. James is absolutely amazing and we look forward to seeing him every time we come. If you desire to watch TV / movies, I suggest downloading movies to your laptop and bringing an HDMI cord, or bring a DVD player. The service does not work well at all. It cuts out a lot. It is in the middle of the mtns which makes sense. Otherwise, everything is incredible and we always look forward to going back. Everything is always clean and feels like home for us. The hot tub is a huge plus and we're in it every day.

Had two nights here last minute and we thankful to be accommodated. It was the end of our trip and wanted some downtime before flying back from Denver. Lovely cabin, loved the hot tub and location to Estes Park. Managed to do some horse riding at a local tourist stables which was also worth the money. Had kitchen facilities so we could take and make our own food. James and Jeanine were lovely and the cabin just what we needed.
