Easy on/off Interstate 40, Eastbound or Westbound, Exit 62A. Look for the two Quarter horses and the Eagle statue at the front entrance. Westbound: take EXIT 62A (Hope Road) make a U TURN over Interstate 40 and go back East toward Amarillo. Route 66 RV Ranch is about ¾ mile from the intersection of I-40 & Hope Road on the South frontage road of I-40. When you see the blue “AMARILLO” sign on your left you are almost here! Eastbound: take EXIT 62A (Hope Road) continue on the South frontage road of Interstate 40, we are past the RV storage facility on your right. When you see the blue “AMARILLO” sign on your left you are almost here!!
What a wonderful welcome and great stop for the night. The washrooms/showers and laundry facilities are absolutely the best! We would definitely stay here again without hesitation.
Route 66 served it's purpose as a simple "non-resort" style RV park. No frills but solid in what is offers and what it advertises that it offers. You will be met with basic comforts and cleanliness. We are in a 41 ft class A coach so we had no need for the bath house facilities or laundry. Did I mention the sunrises and sets are gorgeous views from this Route 66 park?
Spaces are kind of close and awkward but luckily it wasn't too busy for us. Guys in the office are very friendly and they have some of the nicest bathrooms/showers we've seen yet!
You are RIGHT on highway 40 and it is loud! But very close to lots of cool things.
Tom was amazing from start to finish. He answered all of our questions and was very helpful. We were arriving in the evening and he guided us through the process. The park itself is small and quiet, has amazing restroom/shower facilities, and is easily accessible right off the highway. We would recommend this place for the great service and clean bathrooms/showers!
THE NICEST BATHROOM FACILITIES EVER! Route 66 RV Ranch was hands down one the best places we stayed on our week long road trip. We stayed here as our last sleep before we headed home. Tom was very informative and reliable. He was able to accommodate us coming in late and we were so very gracious for his sweet hospitality. The property was extremely clean and organized. Did I mention how nice the bathrooms were?! They were so clean! 10/10 will stay here again for any future stays! THANK YOU TOM!!
