We loved staying at Robin’s Roost! The hosts were very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. The location was perfect and it is close to Hill City. The beds were comfy, the decor was very nice, and the rooms were very clean.
The owners Matt and Beth were the absolute best! Our group stayed in cabin #5 for four nights and found it super clean and cozy. The location was right in the center of everything we wanted to check out while on our trip too. They have chickens and a friendly pup named Charlie too, which made us feel right at home. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're planning a trip in the area.
I would definitely stay here again. The family that owns this place was very nice and helpful. We rented condo D and it was very clean and cozy, nice little outdoor space with a fire pit/picnic table area. Love having the garage attached and a washer and dryer. The playground was great and I suggest taking a walk down the road to the lake - absolutely beautiful. Wish we had more time to just sit around and fish at the lake that was so close … next year though!
Good location, there’s lots of restaurants around and a grocery store up the road a few miles. The owners live on site and were friendly and welcoming, it was just a really cozy and safe place and we will definitely be repeat guests.
I have stayed here several times since Matt and Beth took over. I think its a great place. You can't beat the owners, who always have time to visit and ask if we need anything. They are very friendly and genuine people. The location is unbeatable, being centered in the Black Hills. The property is well kept. You can tell the ownership takes pride in their business and in improving, and growing their vacation destination in the Black Hills. See you guys next time.
