From jct FM-83 & FM-705: Go 12 mi S on FM-705.
I normally launch our boat to go bass fishing. I've stayed on one room once nothing to brag about. Friendliness and great burgers.
The cabin was clean and nicely updated. The store makes the best cheeseburger on the lake. We will be going back.
Best view. Food is ok. Don't order Fried sandwiches unless u expect burned
I haven't stayed overnight, but have been twice for a full day each time. They have a wonderful swimming area and beach that is kept immaculate. There's a great little fishing dock to fish for bass or catfish and the on-site convenience store is, we'll, convenient. I'm looking forward to hauling my RV there next spring/summer to spend a week. Very peaceful setting and lots of lake front with spectacular views of Lake Sam Rayburn. Would highly recommend bringing your family out for the day or week.
2 days in "S13" with full hookups, off season. These folks are awesome. Off-season, they honor Access Passes from the US FEDGOV. That's awesome!
Restaurant serves a good selection, and everything I ate (dinner & breakfast) was outstanding!
