Loved the place loved the people place where you can fish or swim all day can't beat that with a water front view the owners are very helpful in what kinda of lures and baits I need for that area and where to fish different lures in a kayak witch you can bring or rent you can get in to thos spots boats can't n its just a amazing ill definitely be back this year pro ably a few times book and pay ahead you will see why when your there its worth it
Let's get one thing straight, I didn't come here for a resort experience. I came here because I need a roof with a/c for a 2 day fishing tournament. The trailer was cold, the water worked, and the bed had sheets on it. There was a kitchen, bathroom, and TV. Like everything in the louisiana and Texas boonies, it's run down. For the price, 21 team mates, and to have a quiet boat ramp next door, I'd come here for every fishing visit to Toledo.
Nice little economic rooms. Beautiful lake views. Wish I had my boat and rods but stayed cause I had to evacuate lake charles for the 2nd time this year. Only problem was the room next to me kept slamming there doors . Not anyway negative on the place itself
A wonderful out of the way place to stay. We stayed in the motel which gave us the right to fish their private boat shed and fishing dock . We caught about 100 crappie and many other species. You want to ask for Lakside in the morel to get a beautiful view of the lake .Fun!Fun!Fun . We highly recommend this place
Stumbled onto this place and fell in love with the area. Very clean rooms and a pleasant view. The owners are very nice and friendly. Plan on another trip in a couple weeks. Went back to this awesome place again this year. Mani and Jessica are the best, friendly and run a fine establishment, very clean, nice quiet surroundings. We always meet great people from other states.
Our biggest treat is always being invited over for authentic Cajun food prepared by THEM GUYS from Louisiana,
