A quiet kind of place - pretty rustic with nice trees. Google Maps has it in the wrong place - it is actually about 12 miles due east of Palestine on Hwy 84. Google maps has it right on the edge of town which is wrong.
We found this campground from Good Sam directory. When we arrived, there was no one at the office, old note in window said to call. Spoke with Pete,r said to complete registration form and drop in box. We stayed a couple of days, never did see Peter. I did laundry... one dryer and washing machine did not work, was stung by wasp when leaving laundry. There are branches and dead trees all over, does not look like it has been moved in a long time.fire ant hills all over. several permanent campers on property. pond sign says beware of snakes. would not recommend or go back. there was a real estate for sale sign out front.
