We took our snowshoes out to Poplar Hut for New Years eve. Emma and Two Step were gracious hostesses. Trek out was great. Accommodations were clean. Meals were fabulous, bbq chicken, broccoli, root vegetable salad. All as locally sourced as they could get. They did a tour of the energy saving properties of the hut. They encouraged an atmposhere free of technology which encouraged lots of games. Cards puzzles. Really great way to ring in 2019!

Wonderful time. Nice main cabin, great kitchen facilities. Really nice caretaker named Susan. If you want to stay overnight, or just stop in for a break on your hike... Poplar Hut is great!

We love snowshoeing into the huts. Whether it's on the weekend when delicious soups are available,or during the week when you bring your own, it's always very comfortable and inviting.

Very nice. This place is an excellent stopping point on a hike or ski. Or you could spend a few days. Warm and inviting, you'll meet nice people, share a meal and have a great time.
