About Campground

Yankeeland RV Resort opens every year on May 1st and is open until Columbus Day weekend. We offer nightly, weekly, monthly or full Seasonal camping. Our amenities include free WiFi, a swimming pool open Memorial Day until Labor Day, a pavilion with gas grills and a fireplace, hot showers, laundry, playgrounds, Mousam River access and more. When you check in at our office, you will see our rec hall, a game room, TV and lending library. We also have a small store, with firewood, ice, newspapers, snacks, ice cream, beverages, coffee and tea to start your day!

Come to Kennebunk and Kennebunkport(collectively known as"The Kennebunks") and find the Bush family summer home, the freshest New England cuisine, the incredible light, the sea at play against the rocky shore. All that makes Maine Maine is here, but on a much smaller, less touristy scale. Visit Walker's Point, the Bush compound; Ride an authentic electric trolley at the Seashore Trolley Museum; Meander the One-Mile Education Trail at Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge; visit the shops in Kennebunkport. Nearby Gooch's Beach is among the state's best. Indulge in delectable, locally sourced fare. Maine fish and clam chowder, crabmeat sandwiches, fresh off the boat lobster, whoopie pie, and craft brews are just a few samples to discover!

Ive been coming here for 33 years. The new owners treat this place like a money making hole.

New sign lacks character and name is misleading. No toilet paper… My canoe was stolen. No general store. We think this is an RV Resort? Great History, but uncertain future.

It will always be Yankeeland Campground.

We have lived here for 2 months so far while waiting to close on our house.

This place is awesome in every way! Close to beaches, close to mountain ranges, close to Portland, and the best food on earth in every direction.

Our dogs love to go on walks here. The people are so friendly and respectful. It seems like everyone here are all very responsible pet owners and clean up after them!

To top things off, Vern, Jan, and Joni are the most friendly and accommodating people we have ever experienced. They seemingly work around the clock to make sure every little detail is carefully maintained. They are always checking to see what they can do to make our stay better and Vern keeps that pool immaculate! All of them work so hard all the time and they accomplish so much that you would think they had a staff of 20 people.

If we weren't already buying a home close by, we would definitely be regular visitors here every season.

Thanks for making us feel welcome and at home!

Not the prettiest campsite. Pictures lie. Pool could use some TLC. Our first day there, we were greeted fairly well by surrounding neighbors. Soon after people heard us speaking a foreign language, the atmosphere changed. Not by all parties, but by the parties that mattered in this community. At first I didn't think much of it and thought I was over thinking it. Day 2 at 8pm in the evening, someone claiming to be the manager calls my wife and said she received multiple complaints about my dogs barking and that we would have to pack up our things and leave that night. They wanted me, my wife and 1 yr old daughter to leave in the middle of the night because of barking complaints. Almost everyone on the campgrounds has a dog and they all bark. We were the only ones singled out and never even given a warning that people were complaining about our dogs. Take my review however you'd like but this is one place I will never go back or ever recommend.

Check in was after 3:00pm. Arrived at 3:18 and the office closed at 2:00pm. No one available to check us in. Maintenance man gave us a campsite. No internet access, no map of grounds and no list of available services. Definitely did not get my $85 worth. Will not consider or recommend to stay at this facility.
