This campground is located in a popular OHV area, located off Highway 410, Forest Road 1900, Little Naches. Ponderosa Camp is very popular with 4x4 groups as a nearby trail allows them easy access. There's room for 5 or 6 camps in non-designated spots. One vault toilet, bulletin board and self paying iron ranger.
From Naches, WA travel west on Highway 12 for 4.4 miles. Continue straight onto Highway 410 W for 24.2 miles. Turn right on Little Naches Road / Forest Road 19 and follow 3 miles to Road 1903. Turn right and go 1 mile to camp.
We spent three days and two nights here mid week, so we had the entire place to ourselves! Pretty little stream behind our camp, and a nice trail to walk.
Brat place to take kids, no traffic and water is low and slow. I deducted a star because the forest service blocked of lots of easy beginner trail.
