From Interstate 95, take Exit 184. Go west on Union St (Rt. 222), past the airport and we are 5 miles on the left.
We were looking for a family campground around the Bangor area and found Pleasant Hill! We were more then impressed! The staff so very friendly and helpful, the facility was clean and well kept and the other Campers were so welcoming and sweet!
Our campsite was awesome and exactly what we were looking for! The bathrooms/showers were nicely kept and clean, the pool was a perfect temp and so relaxing and we met the event lady who showed us around and we got to play mini golf! We had a blast and will be back to stay again for sure!
We stayed for 2 weeks paid the cost. Then with out my knowledge or consent took another 2 weeks of payment out of my account when we had already checked out. Shower water is not hot it’s Luke warm. After a hard day we needed a hot shower. The pine needles ruined my camper awning. Manager is not an honest person she stole from me.
I would never go back! We left because we were not happy. .
We stayed at Pleasant Hill Campground last weekend, and rented their cabin. It was perfect! Super close to Bangor and the amenities, but a quiet space where we could have a fire at night. The bathrooms were relatively close to the cabin, and were very clean and well kept - the showers were great! The cabin was so comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Being a pet friendly cabin was a huge plus for us.
Highly recommend!
This is a great campground to be at very friendly atmosphere. It's just outside Bangor where you can get shopping but quite enough you don't have the Big Town atmosphere. The campground is centrally located we're not far from the mountains or the coast. Has a pool and a game room also an event room. Clean campground in the nature.
