The location is amazing! The lake was insanely beautiful. I was frustrated by the owner and his dog. There are 15 mph speed limit signs and drive slow kids playing signs everywhere, and he completely ignored the signs himself. My kids were outside playing and he was flying around the campground on his atv and dumptruck doing at least 35mph. His dog kept nonstop barking and kept approaching my dog like he was going to attack. My German Shepherd just looked at him, like try it and see what happens. It just wasn't relaxing to be there as I hoped due to the stress of his dog and how fast he was driving. I don't plan on staying here again.

I loved the place. Owners were great and the beagle who runs the place is a trip. He is funny and friendly, played with my dog and they stole a steak from me but I couldn't stop laughing at the two thieves cause they had no remorse . I never saw two delinquents have so much fun. Beagle came every day to play with my dog , who missed her friends at the dog park so she really enjoyed him. The food is great, the resort is beautiful with bald eagles fishing right in the cove. Kayaks for rent, clean showers and laundry and lots of kids and local families so the atmosphere is very friendly. Yet at night everybody quiets down, no drunks or loud music. I stayed 3 weeks while exploring the area and fishing. I will go back this year.

We went to bowl. The woman working at the counter was friendly. Only one lane worked, tho, in the alley. There were 5 balls available, but one had a few big chips out of it. It smelled VERY musty in the alley. Bc there were 5 of us bowling in one lane, it took a long time to bowl a string. The lane we had to use had no light where the pins were, so it was hard to count the pins. We had fun, but the experience could have been a lot better. I wouldn't try to bowl with any more than 5 people...and hope nobody else is already there using the one lane that works.

What an amazing place to stay! I had a cabin not right on the lake but close enough. Very good people running the place and super quiet. The restaurant had great food. Yes, I had to wait a few but I understood the reason why and on top of that I had a great view of the water while waiting for my food. A little on the pricey side for some but well worth it. I came right at the end of summer, so I was still able to rent some kayaks. All around a great place to visit! I will definitely be coming back.

Great location, beautiful scenery. Just make sure you pack "ALL" your meals... It is now Thursday night. I had my first and only meal Sat night. The camp restaurant is never open. Only open the day we arrived? Weird..Hours say 5-9 ... but the lights are always off and the doors are locked.. 5 days closed now....Really! bring your own food.... I'm starving 😫... Im gonna pack up and leave a day early so I can eat something, anything...
