About Campground
Plainville Township Lake is located 1 mile south and 1 mile west of Plainville. During normal years, the lake has plenty of water and provides an excellent location for fishing and picnics. It is also a great place for bird watching, photographing sunsets, or play a round of frisbee golf on a nine-hole layout on the west side of the lake.
Camping spaces are available with electrical hookups.

They keep the trash picked up and mowed pretty frequently nice little lake
Lovely Lake. Would be nice if the camper area had full hookups. But we are grateful to have what is there. It is a nice place to camp. Thank you Rooks County!
Honestly, this lake is gorgeous. But it could do with a few things, a dock with railings would be nice to see, a restroom that has doors and separate stalls would be even better if there were actually camping sites out there, plus RV areas with full hook ups, including WIFI.
