The Free RV Dump was nice, except that the water line to rinse your hose was broken and didn't work.. We stayed over night and the only complaint was how loud it was from the semi's since they run their engines all night and the parking lot was full.
Very pleasantly surprised at this little restaurant stop!! The bathrooms were SUPER CLEAN!! Stocked with plenty of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels…when places are unattended like this u never know what u are waking into and I expected the worst, however I shouldn’t have because the grounds outside were also very clean and yard groomed/maintained!! If we had our fur-babies traveling with us, this would have been a great place for them or even children to get out and stretch their legs a bit cause it was up away from the highway and felt safe…we were here during daylight hours so not sure about security lighting but will check it out if we come back through and dark…will definitely stop there again, BIG THANKYOU to whomever maintains it!!
Thanks for all the compliments. I'm one of the care takers of this rest area. My Dad is the other. Alot of hours a day spent making it what it is. We hear every day how much people enjoy the stop and the clean restrooms. I have shared some of my pics from time to time. Beautiful sun rises and sun sets as well as just nature.
We live in Eastern Kansas and usually stop at this rest area. It's a clean, well manicured place. Nice dump station for your RV. I believe they let you park overnight.
