Located just east of Kingman, Kansas, the Champion Ridge farmstead and land were purchased in 1937 by R.J. Stucky, Dave’s grandfather. Dave’s dad, Martin, then established a grain and livestock operation. After milking cows in a hay barn during the 1940’s a “state of the art” dairy barn was built in 1951. A Holstein cow herd of 30-45 cows were milked until 1963 when the herd was sold. The dairy barn was then used primarily for storage.
In 2011 the idea of using the building as a bed and breakfast was birthed. Much of the design of the Inn was sketched on dinner napkins during meal times. Numerous local contractors, most being longtime friends, also contributed to the completion of the project. Many of the items used during the time the dairy was in operation are displayed and take you back to “how things used to be” in the 1950’s and 60’s.
The Country RV Park opened in 2015. It sits along the east edge of the Champion Ridge farmstead. It is bordered on the north by an established wind break and has a large native grass area on the south for recreational use.Located 5 easy miles east of Kingman, 30 miles south of Hutchinson,
and 30 miles west of Wichita along highway 54/400.

It is perfect for small groups with three separate bedrooms including an awesome loft we are now staying in.bits such a great place to fill out a guest book perfect for that southeast Kansas hunting trip!! Dave And Nancy are very good Christian people with amazing hearts.cant wait for that hot scratch breakfast they are providing in their way to church today. Scoob
Very nice small RV park on this farm. The owner is great - personable and happy to spend time visiting with guests. We weathered a classic Kansas spring storm during our short stay, and it was reassuring to know the storm shelter was available. Peaceful and scenic country setting, full hook-ups and easy back-in.
Staying at their converted milk barn was so much fun. Picturesque setting and comfortable accommodations. The space was very clean. We needed to leave earlier in the morning for an hunting trip and Nancy still made a delicious hot breakfast for us.
What a wonderful nights stay at this campground. On a farm setting behind an B&B was a perfect spot for our 38’ motorhome with full hookups and 50 amps. Allows dogs and children. It was $30 a night CASH ONLY! Very quiet and host was so kind. I would highly recommend this spot.
Hosts are wonderful and have a heart to serve. It's a peaceful place to stay and a short drive off of 70. There was plenty of space and was easy to maneuver our 37' 5th wheel RV. Clean and level gravel spots with full hookups. We highly recommend staying here.
