Located along the Colorado River on a 92 acre parcel of the La Paz County Park.
We camped in the rv park. It's crowded, laundromat has some machines not working, the wifi comes and goes. The water quality is terrible, and there was a lot of mucky mud in our site, we asked for some graveI and they ignored our request. We wouldn't stay here again.
It's been 4 years and We still talk about this place out in the middle of nowhere. We absolutely loved the Pirate theme .. It had a really fun vibe unlike the other rv parks in the area lots to do for the entire family! As for the rv spots I noticed a few people complaining about how small they are but in our travels most all the rv vacation parks are going to be like that. The restaurant was nice , the food was good and the service was great..
We definitely would love to come back someday.
We ate at the restaurant yesterday for the first time (we were so excited). We walked in and The hostess was upset because we interrupted her lunch to ask to be sitted. The service was horrible. It took over 40 minutes to receive our food and it was COLD, except for my daughter's fish and chips. My son in law had something foreign in his his glass of ice. I was over charged my husband and I shared a sandwich, we paid for the extra side and two bloody Mary's and a Pepsi for $42.00???. My daughter paid separately. The people who were sitted in front of us said they had not seen their server since they arrived.
We stay in the rv park and love it! Always nice peeps to right or left (usually). Great staff....the restaurant has super great food (props to the chef) at what we think are very reasonable prices. The outside bar? So great! Bartenders are great as well as the great hardworking servers. They're the best! Just love Pirates Den. Unfortunately the secrets out so we don't get to go as often we would or could due to unavailability. (Riverfront or close to it) But....I'd be a big fat hog to if I could of a riverfront slot and not let it go to if I ever had the shot at one! Great times had and more too come!
