We had a long stay and really appreciated the great hospitality and friendly, homey atmosphere at this park, we will definitely stay again when in Q!
4.5 stars. The people here are great. What a great place to park. Easy and level spots. Clean and beautiful park. They had a nice laundromat and a dog wash area! The only complaint is the noise backed up to the trailer park. People start their trucks early and let them run for 20 min and the highway is quite noisy all day and some throughout the evening. Otherwise, lovely safe place.
I know nothing about the park. But the man was adamant against old RVs. I know people worth a Million Dollars that drive older RVs. Why are we treated like criminals and scumbags because we prefer older models?? They cost less but are built better. When maintained they run great. This is unfair discrimination and bias for no rational reason. "Somebody might abandon it" he says. Well should I be punished and judged for what someone else did? I thought this was America. "That's our policy" How about "Common sense" as a policy? How about check the individuals credit? Folks go there to Quartzite hoping to escape that kind of empty headed thinking so common in big city America.
The lady who I met and spoke with last year unfortunately did not answer the phone today! All I can say is WOW! "Jim" should not be handling the phone. Super Rude.
Bummer. Our stay here last time was cool.
Had a great multi-week stay here at The Scenic Road. All hookups worked perfectly, the sites are close together but everyone was a good neighbor. Met a lot of very decent people in this park. The manager(?), Jim, is a gentleman and keeps close watch over the park. Very safe and secure and close to all the local goings on without being right on the freeway. Look forward to coming back here in the future.
