Great short trip. You need to climb on the hill to find much, I did find some very small clear crystal in the wash but I found a nice size,very clear one about 50 yards up on the hill. Perfect for a large pindet. But mostly we went for exercise and a picnic. Had a blast. Not supposed to use any tools but a guy there was using a shovel and finding nice stones. But that's cheating.
DO NOT HIT THE DIRECTIONS BUTTON AND FOLLOW THE GOOGLE MAP DIRECTIONS! This DOES NOT take you to Crystal Hill. You will wander for 2 hours in desert washes and not get there!!!
Great spot to hike, has a really good energy.
Don't take the pipeline road in, the other road is much better.
