A ton of my childhood memories took place in this campground. I wouldn't change a thing. Always in my heart!

Awesome fast response to a question I had. I've not visited this place yet but hope to soon so I can blog it and share like the other sites! The reviews and pics are all positive so I'll be in touch!

Ticks everywhere, ended up getting an unleveled campsite (which we didn't know when booking), neglected pond, neglected hiking trails and playgrounds. Playgrounds had nests of many creatures some were bees and were unsafe to play on. Overgrown hiking trails with ticks and poison ivy. Not a very good experience for us. Only good thing was the bathrooms and showers were clean. I think it has major potential. Just needs a lot of TLC.

In my opinion, if they put more care and attention to it then it'd be a better place. I'm willing to give it another try in the future if things are improved.

The owner is lovely and so sweet. The cabin was no frills but it was an easy place to stop and lay our head down for $60. Showers and bathrooms are fairly close too. We had two adults and two dogs in the cabin and we made it work. The cabin has a pull out couch bed, table, and a loft area. Bring a battery powered fan if it is a warm day.
