Located 1 mile from Aiken and 15 miles from Augusta, GA. From I-20: Exit #22, and go south on Hwy 1 towards Aiken. Go 4.8 miles and Pine Acres is on the left. From Aiken off 118 Bypass: go north on Hwy. 1 for one mile, and the campground is on the right.
New Owners!!!! I stayed here a month so I could work remotely and visit family. The location was perfect and the people were great! The new owners are getting rid of the old and bringing in the new. While I was there, the new owners took over and were there everyday working on projects. The bathrooms were repainted inside and out. They replaced/updated the water hookups at each site. They also came in a cleaned all the permanent campers. The work didn't stop once. Most the sites are pull-through sites (which is a bonus for someone who has a hard time backing up). I had no problem putting out my awning all the way. I worked with Consuela and Deborah and they were absolutely fantastic. Also, the location is on a busy road, but if you have a fan running and/or a/c, it muffles the noise. I will definitely be staying there the next time I come to town! We camped at Pine Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.
